4Com, the Bournemouth-based provider of leading business telephone systems to UK SMEs, has announced the successful acquisition of Eastern Telephones Limited, commonly known as Eastern Voice and Data.
This acquisition, which was completed on the 4th November, is 4Com’s second in the past 6 months, having acquired Midlands-based Midshire Telecom on the 16th May.
Established in 1992, Eastern Voice and Data have 30 years of experience successfully delivering telecoms services to a variety of private and public sector organisations, predominantly those nearby their Head Office in Norwich, Norfolk.
Gary Scutt, 4Com’s CEO, paid tribute to the company, saying “We talk to a lot of companies as part of our acquisitions process, and from the outset we were impressed with how the team at Eastern have grown their business. As with our acquisition of Midshire Telecom, there is a tremendous amount of opportunity here, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them into the 4Com Group.”
