4Com Pricing Information

From 4th January 2011 you will notice a change to your telecommunications bill.


The VAT rate will rise from 17.5% to 20% on the 4th January 2011.  Line rental and other communication services provided by 4Com will be charged at the new VAT rate from 4th January onwards.  4Com customer can expect to see a change to their invoices from January and will continue to be billed at this rate going forward.

Direct Debit
In line with standard industry charges, 4Com will be updating our charges for Non Direct-Debit payment and paper billing.
Customers choosing not to pay by Direct Debit will be charged £3.00 per month, and customers electing to receive a paper bill, as opposed to our FREE e-billing service, will also be charged £3.00 per month.


You can avoid these costs simply by switching to Direct Debit payments, and 4Com e-billing today.

Important Notice – New Line Rental Service Levels
As from Saturday 22nd May 2011, BT Openreach is changing the industry wide maintenance service levels available on all wholesale line rental and LLU lines.


The service levels that 4Com offers its customers will therefore change also.


From this date there will be 4 levels of service available to 4Com’s line rental customers, which will be available on all line types.  This is to also include a new service level offering a 6 hour response/fix, 365 days a year.


New expedite orders are also available, which will allow you to improve the service level that you currently receive should you need to resolve a fault urgently.

4Com Network Services Price Change Notification 01/06/2011
Throughout our entire 12 years of operation, 4Com Network Services has never raised its prices (other than through industry and/or regulatory changes), yet, due to the current climate and ever increasing demands on our day to day running costs, we are announcing a change to our pricing structure.


Although 4Com has delayed this development, a host of other organisations within the service industry (including telecommunications) have already increased their prices. In October 2010 telecoms giant BT raised its costs for business customers and residential customers alike – upping line rentals, increasing call set-up fees and raising the costs of daytime calls by up to 15 per cent - other communications providers were quick to follow suit.


The price of telephone calls has continued to fall during the last decade, despite other sectors including gas, fuel and electricity reaching an all-time high – it is the pressure of these utility cost increases that are now responsible for forcing up our prices also.


Reassuringly, 4Com will only be raising its pricing by an average of 8.9 per cent across the affected services.  The minimal increases in our pricing will enable us to continue to offer dedicated and efficient support to all of our valued customers.
